In collaboration with Universal: Destinations and Experiences, I was responsible for enhancing the carousel on prominent landing pages, like the homepage for Universal Orlando. My responsibilities encompassed adding support for images and videos, implementing various text configurations, and introducing new accessibility features to elevate the overall user experience. Through concept, usability, and accessibility testing, involving over 40 versions, we fine-tuned aspects like the reduced motion button, slide autorotation, and text readability against various backgrounds. The insights gained from these tests informed the final design, ensuring a user-friendly experience that remained aligned with brand guidelines and was accessible to all.
